ATI's State-Of-The-Art
Fabrication Facility
Our custom designed
facility features sophisticated equipment and
specialized working areas. Our computer-assisted
equipment includes Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing
(CAD/CAM) system, five 3-axis CNC machining centers,
two CNC lathes, three CNC wire-cut EDM and two
computer-assisted Brown & Sharpe 3-axis coordinate
measuring machines. ATI has numerous controlled
access design and fabrication areas to perform
proprietary programs.
The Fabrication
Department includes a complete precision machine
shop, wood shop, and sheet metal shop. Our composite
laminating area has two clean rooms, CNC ply cutting
machine, contour-following ultrasonic inspection
gantry, three large curing ovens and two walk-in
freezers.

Our Technologies
The Engineering
Department utilizes desktop personal computers
running Pro/Engineer (CAD/CAM), MSC/NASTRAN for
Windows (Finite Element), Pro/Mechanical ANSYS
(Finite Element Analysis) FEMAP, Microsoft Office
Tools and other specialized aerodynamic, rotor
performance and structural dynamic analysis programs.
ATI's CAD/CAM
system accepts numerical data from all other computer
systems using an IGES or STEP translator. ATI
can import and export native CATIA files to its
Pro/Engineer CAD system. Data can be transferred
electronically via ATI's or our customer's FTP
sites, on magnetic tape, or on Compact Disc (CD).
