Low Cost, Long Endurance UAV :

ATI served as airframer for the development of this low cost, long endurance UAV. Rapid prototyping techniques allowed the first flight to take place 60 days from the initial concept definition. Low cost was assured by virtue of the extremely short development cycle and the high content of Commercial Off-The-Shelf subsystems.

Multiple flight test articles were manufactured as part of this quick response project. Activities included designing, fabricating, and assembling the airframe, propulsion, and electrical systems. Operational support during wind tunnel, ground, and flight testing was also provided. Payloads weighing 200 pounds were carried on flights exceeding 10 hours.
